Emiliano the dog

has a new release date: 12/22. I still will go back before that. Could stop in to see him on my way in to work for a second or so. Long enough to make sure he has at least one of the two blankets I took for him. A rescue in Nebraska sent an email from a rescue in Oregon that arranged foster care in Merced. All they needed was someone to go to the South L.A. shelter and bail him out. He was sheduled for "review" on Friday. I'm pretty sure that would translate into not being alive on Saturday. I went down that day to get him. All of his ribs were showing and something damaged his tail enough to require the vet to cut the end of it off. He was in "isolation" because he was on antibiotics for the injury. Being in "isolation" meant he wasn't where the adopting public could see him without specifically requesting him. None of the staff seem to like him much. If it weren't for that woman in Nebraska his chances really weren't good. I told them I'd pay to get him out, pick him up from the vet (shelter requires they get altered before you get them), and foster him until transportation to his long term foster home can be arranged.

Paula Zahan's husband had Pale Male the NYC hawlk removed from the snooty building she lives in. He's the president of the co op board. Mary Tyler Moore lives in that building also, but she's a decent human building and went to the media with her objection.

Time to write an email to CNBC or CNN or whatever station it is that pays Paula Zahn.
